The HyperOS 2.2 update brings many improvements to enhance the user experience. However, it was unclear how Xiaomi is planning to rollout the HyperOS 2.2 until today, as it has now indirectly revealed the rollout plan.
The Chinese brand has announced the Xiaomi Camera 6 release schedule. We know that the Xiaomi Camera 6 will come pre-installed with HyperOS 2.2, which gives an idea of when Xiaomi users can expect the new HyperOS update on their devices.
Here’s the rollout plan (shared by Xiaomi Time):
First batch (mid-May to mid-June)
The first wave of the HyperOS 2.2 rollout will be focused on flagship devices and newer models.

This list is based on the Xiaomi Camera 6 release schedule. Although the brand is likely to follow the same timeline, an official HyperOS 2.2 timeline would give us more confidence. We’ll publish that on this website when the details are out.
