LG is expanding its smart monitor lineup with the brand new Smart Monitor Swing. It offers some notable specs and features, all of which are housed in a stand with wheels for added mobility. This model is clearly inspired from the brand’s StanbyMe series, so here’s what we know.
LG Smart Monitor Swing: Specs and Features
The South Korean tech giant’s latest smart monitor is a 32-inch monitor that supports touchscreen and offers 4K resolution. It is an IPS LCD panel that is housed on a stand that helps in portability, thanks to tiny wheels on the bottom. The Smart Monitor Swing features three USB Type-C ports and two HDMI ports for connectivity. One of these USB-C ports offers 65W power delivery, which allows it to charge typical business laptops as well.

There is a concealed adapter on the back to help reduce cable clutter. The LG Smart Monitor Swing runs on the company’s webOS platform, which brings access to YouTube, Microsoft Office, and more. Similar to LG’s MyView Smart Monitors, the Smart Monitor Swing also runs on cloud PC services. In other words, it can function as a standalone device and doesn’t require a computer.
Apart from the screen on wheels bit, the latest LG smart monitor also borrows some design elements from the StanbyMe lineup. You are missing out on a remote control and a built-in battery. As of right now, global availability is still unconfirmed, but the LG Smart Monitor Swing has been announced in South Korea for 1,049,000 won or roughly around 735 US Dollars. This launch also arrives days after the brand unveiled another 32-inch 4K smart monitor in India.
