Honor has confirmed it will launch the new MagicBook Pro 16 on April 30. The company has already shared a few key details about the device.

The MagicBook Pro 16 will have a silver finish, with a simple design and “HONO” branding on the lid. It looks slim and light, around 0.8 inches thick and weighing just under 4 pounds.

It will be powered by the Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 graphics card, paired with Honor’s Turbo X technology. It will also have an Intel Core Ultra 9 CPU, likely the Core Ultra 9 285H. The total TDP is 150W, covering both the processor and GPU.

The laptop will use 8000MT/s memory and support a 165Hz refresh rate. Honor says these upgrades will help the MagicBook Pro 16 deliver fast data processing and smooth, natural visuals. It will also feature a 3K screen. Based on past models, this likely means a 16-inch IPS display with 3072 × 1920 resolution, 165Hz refresh rate, and 500 nits of brightness.

Honor claims the MagicBook Pro 16 will stay quiet even under heavy use, but real-world tests will show how well the cooling system works. Earlier models stayed fairly quiet except when high-performance mode was switched on.

The MagicBook Pro 16 will be fully unveiled on April 30. Pricing and full specifications will be announced at the launch.
