Xiaomi’s new Mijia Air Conditioner Pro is now available on JD.com and other platforms, with sales starting at 8 PM today. The base price is ¥3,999 (~$549).

The AC uses a bottom-inlet, top-outlet airflow design, requiring just 2cm clearance from the ceiling. It creates a circulating breeze inside rooms for better airflow. A dual millimeter-wave radar system detects human presence within a 7-meter range and 180° field of view, automatically adjusting airflow to avoid blowing directly at people or offering gentle cooling based on how close someone is.

The Mi Air Conditioner Pro holds an APF 5.65 energy efficiency rating. It is built with dual-row condensers and evaporators, enabling 30-second rapid cooling and 60-second rapid heating. Its “Little King Kong” outdoor unit is designed to work in extreme weather, supporting heating down to -35°C and cooling up to 65°C.

The AC also supports smart features through Xiaomi’s HyperConnect platform. Users can control and customize the air conditioner via the Mi Home app or through voice commands using Xiao AI.
