Meizu’s China GM, Xiao Bo, has revealed the official design of the upcoming Meizu Note 16 series. The design is said to be inspired by the traditional Chinese “circular beams,” with a clear connection to Huawei’s foldable design. Xiao Bo shared details on the look and feel of the phone, highlighting its affordability and focus on consumer satisfaction. For those who don’t know, the Note 16 series is set to launch in May in China.

The Meizu Note 16 series will be available in at least two colors: red and white. The white version will have a sleek silver frame, while the red model will feature a gold frame. Both variants will have a distinctive red power button. The phone’s rear houses an octagonal camera module that includes dual cameras and a circular flash.

A recent report revealed that the Meizu Note 16 will feature a 6.78-inch LCD display with a Full HD+ resolution. It will feature an 8-megapixel front camera and a 50-megapixel + 2-megapixel dual-camera setup.
Under the hood, the Meizu Note 16 will feature the Unisoc T765 chipset and run on Flyme AIOS 2-based Android 15. It will feature a 6,600mAh battery with support for 40W wired charging. It is speculated that the Note 16 Pro will pack a smaller 6,150mAh battery with 80W charging support. As per reports, the Note 16 is expected to arrive with a price point of around 1,000 Yuan (~$140).
