Asus is refreshing its ROG laptop portfolio for India in 2025 today. There are a total of six models that target varied niches like gamers, creators, and anyone looking for high-performance hardware in a portable form factor.
The latest models span across the Strix Scar, Strix G, Zephyrus, and Flow series, and come equipped with Intel’s Ultra 9 processors, AMD’s new Ryzen AI chips, NVIDIA’s RTX 50-series GPUs, OLED and Mini LED displays, and upgraded thermals.
Here’s a breakdown of what’s new and coming to shelves starting this month.
1. Strix Scar 16 and Scar 18
The updated Strix Scar 16 and Scar 18 continue ASUS’s trend of designing large-format machines that lean hard into high-end specs. Both models are powered by the Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX processor, with GPU options up to NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090.
They come with up to 64GB of DDR5 RAM and 2TB of PCIe 4.0 SSD. To keep the thermals down, it has a cooling mechanism composed of a vapor chamber and a triple fan mechanism.
Asus is also brining its ROG motherboards innovation here. The SSD slot has a new Q-latch design that makes its mounting tool-less. As for the design, the PC has an AniMe Vision LED lid display along with a 360° RGB lightbar.
Both models use 240Hz WQXGA Mini-LED ROG Nebula HDR displays with 1200 nits peak brightness and 3ms response times. These are Pantone Validated, G-SYNC compatible, and support Dolby Vision. Prices start at Rs 379,990 for the Scar 16 and Rs 449,990 for the Scar 18.
