Vivo has just announced a brand new budget smartphone in the Indian market. The Vivo Y19 made its debut with a tall display, military certified body, massive battery, and 5G support for an affordable price tag. So here are all the details.
Vivo Y19: What makes it special?
The Chinese brand’s latest smartphone is from its affordable Y series and sports a tall 6.74-inch LCD screen with an HD+ resolution, 90Hz refresh rate, and 840 nits of peak brightness. Under the hood, the Vivo Y19 is equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 SoC, which is paired with up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. But users can expand the storage by up to 2TB via a microSD card slot.
A massive 5,500mAh battery pack powers this device that also supports 15W wired fast charging. For optics, the rear has a 13MP dual camera setup, while the front houses a 5MP shooter for selfies and video calls. This model also runs on the Android 15 OS based FuntouchOS 15 custom skin out of the box. Other notable features include a side mounted fingerprint scanner, a MIL- STD-810H certification for military grade durability, an IP64 rating for water and dust resistance, dual SIM support, and FM radio.

The Vivo Y19 has just debuted in two color options, namely Majestic Green and Titanium Silver. It is available for purchase from the brand’s official website, Flipkart, and authorized offline retailers. This budget phones arrives in three storage configurations, so let’s have a look:
