Hisense has launched its 2025 U8Q ULED Mini-LED Smart TV across Europe following its US release in April. The TV comes in four sizes: 55, 65, 75, and 85 inches, priced at €1,299, €1,699, €2,199, and €2,799, respectively. A 100-inch model is listed in other regions, but there’s no word on its European release.

The U8Q features a 4K (3840 x 2160) Mini-LED display with a refresh rate of up to 165Hz. It supports Dolby Vision IQ, HDR10+, IMAX Enhanced, and Filmmaker Mode. The contrast ratio is 2,000:1. Peak brightness reaches 4,000 nits for HDR content, though typical brightness is around 700 nits.

Audio is handled by a built-in 4.1.2 channel speaker system with 90W output and support for Dolby Atmos and DTS Virtual:X. It also supports advanced gaming features like AMD FreeSync, Game Mode Pro, and a dedicated Game Bar.

The TV runs on Vidaa OS in Europe, not Google TV. It still includes access to major streaming platforms and supports voice commands. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, HDMI 2.1 (x3), USB 3.0, and S/PDIF. It ships with a solar-powered remote.

The U8Q is powered by the Hi-View Engine Pro, running on a MediaTek Pentonic 800 chip, which enables real-time AI picture optimization and motion handling. MEMC, 4K upscaling, and smooth frame interpolation are supported.
