Samsung has quietly announced the Galaxy F56 5G in India. Branded as the slimmest smartphone in the F-series at 7.2mm thick, the F56 5G leans on a mix of flagship-style design cues and incremental hardware upgrades. Here’s everything you need to know about it.

Samsung Galaxy F56 5G Specifications

The device features a 6.7-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED+ panel, boasting a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 1200 nits of brightness with Vision Booster. You get Gorilla Glass Victus+ protection on both the front and back. And the phone will be available in two colors: Green and Violet.

Powering the F56 5G is an Exynos 1480 processor paired with LPDDR5X RAM. Samsung also promises improved thermal efficiency through a vapor cooling chamber.

The chipset won’t rival top-tier Snapdragon SoCs but should be enough for handling your everyday tasks. The runtime is handled by a 5000mAh cell with support for 45W fast charging.

On the camera front, Samsung offers a 50MP main sensor with OIS, along with a 12MP front camera. The front-facing camera is a 12MP unit.

The F56 5G ships with One UI 7, and Samsung is offering 6 years of security updates and 6 generations of Android OS upgrades. The promise is in line with what Samsung has been offering for its mid-range phones lately.

The interface includes typical One UI refinements and tighter Google Gemini integration and support for features like Samsung’s Knox Vault and Tap & Pay.

Price and Availability

The Samsung Galaxy F56 5G is priced at Rs 25,999 for the 8GB+128GB variant and Rs 28,999 for 8GB+256GB. The prices include the Rs 2,000 bank discount. You can also avail yourself of an EMI option starting at Rs 1,556 per month.
