Xiaomi has launched a new budget gaming monitor under its Redmi brand. The Redmi Monitor G27 is now listed on the company’s Youpin platform, priced at 669 yuan (approximately $92). The monitor targets budget-conscious gamers with a combination of high refresh rate and color accuracy.

Redmi Monitor G27 Specifications
The Redmi G27 features a 27-inch Fast IPS panel with a Full HD resolution of 1920×1080 pixels. The panel supports a 200Hz refresh rate and 1ms GtG response time, designed to reduce motion blur during fast-paced gaming.
The display supports VESA DisplayHDR 400 certification and reaches a peak brightness of 400 nits. It also includes AdaptiveSync support and works with both Nvidia G-Sync and AMD FreeSync, helping to eliminate screen tearing and stuttering during gameplay.
Xiaomi has factory-calibrated each unit to achieve a Delta E<2 color accuracy. The monitor covers 100% of the sRGB and 94% of the DCI-P3 color gamut. This color performance makes it suitable for casual content creation alongside gaming. The display also carries TÜV Rheinland Low Blue Light certification and supports DC dimming, which reduces eye strain during extended use.

In terms of design, the monitor adopts a minimalist look with slim bezels and a simple stand. The stand supports tilt adjustments from -5 degrees to +15 degrees. The monitor is also compatible with VESA 75x75mm wall mounting.
For connectivity, the G27 includes one DisplayPort 1.4, one HDMI 2.0 port, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a DC-IN power port. It draws power through a 12V/3A adapter and has a rated power consumption of 36W.
In related news, Philips has launched a 300Hz gaming monitor focused on eye comfort, while ViewSonic’s latest release features 4K, 240Hz, and Samsung’s premium OLED panel.
