Glance has partnered with Samsung Galaxy Store to launch Glance AI, a new shopping experience built into the lock screen for Samsung users in the US. The feature gives users access to personalized AI-driven shopping and styling directly from their lock screens.

Glance AI uses generative AI to let users see themselves in different outfits by analyzing a selfie or a photo from their gallery. The platform is powered by Google’s Gemini AI and Imagen for image generation. Users can shop for the looks with one tap, save the images as their lock screen wallpaper, or share them.

The experience is fully opt-in and is available both as an app and as a lock screen feature. Glance AI partners with over 400 brands to offer real-time product recommendations and order fulfillment. It also uses trending content, local events, and social media activity to keep suggestions fresh. With high-speed AI processing, the platform delivers features like flash sales and trend-based shopping updates.
The lock screen integration makes it easy for users to access the platform without opening any apps. The goal is to turn the smartphone lock screen into a more useful space for shopping and content discovery.
Jason Shim, Head of Samsung Galaxy Store USA, said Glance AI fits the Galaxy Store’s aim to deliver high-quality, personalized experiences. He said using AI to enable shopping directly on the lock screen makes the platform more dynamic and useful for users.
Naveen Tewari, Founder and CEO of Glance and InMobi, said the idea is to help people see what’s possible and act on it instantly. He said the Samsung partnership brings that experience to more users across the US.
Glance is backed by Google, Jio Platforms, and Mithril Capital, and operates as an unconsolidated subsidiary of InMobi. Applications for the new lock screen experience are now live in the US.
