Earlier whispers pegged it at 6,800 mAh or “over 6,500 mAh,” but this latest figure cements the Xiaomi 16 as a potential battery king for its size. Notably, it aligns with an earlier leak from Weibo tipster ‘Wisdom Pikachu’ (translated from Chinese), who had hinted at a similar battery capacity.
Paired with a rumored 6.3-inch to 6.39-inch flat OLED display, the phone keeps a compact, pocket-friendly form factor while offering stamina that could outlast most competitors. This endurance boost, likely aided by silicon-carbon tech, means longer gaming sessions, streaming, or work without scrambling for a charger.
Beyond the battery, the Xiaomi 16 is officially confirmed to impress with a Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 chipset, Qualcomm’s next-gen silicon expected to drop around the same time. The next-generation Qualcomm flagship promises blazing performance and efficiency for everything from AI tasks to heavy multitasking. The camera setup sounds equally exciting, with leaks pointing to a triple 50MP rear array, including a main sensor with a 1/1.3-inch size for stellar low-light shots and a possible periscope telephoto for crisp zoom and macro shots.
