Xiaomi has begun teasing the arrival of its upcoming tablet, the Pad 7S Pro, suggesting a possible launch later this month in China. One of the major highlights of the tablet is that it will be equipped with the Xring O1 chip that also powers the Xiaomi Pad 7 Ultra, which debut a few weeks ago in China. Apart from the chip, the brand also confirmed a few other details about the Pad 7S Pro.

The Xiaomi Pad 7S Pro is confirmed to feature a 12.5-inch LCD panel and come equipped with a 12,160mAh battery, supporting 120W fast charging. The device is expected to run on HyperOS 2.0-based Android 15 and bring a PC-like software experience.
The Pad 7S Pro supports the Xiaomi Pen stylus and features a slim profile of 5.8mm. The rest of its specs are under wraps. It is speculated that the Pad 7S Pro may compete directly with the iPad Air series.
Official renders show that the Xiaomi Pad 7S Pro retains a premium, all-metal unibody design and a four-sided narrow bezel display with rounded corners. It will ship with a new floating keyboard accessory similar to the one offered with the Pad 7 Ultra. This accessory includes a high-precision metal hinge for enhanced stability, along with a large built-in trackpad, delivering a more laptop-like experience for users.
The tablet is also expected to support rear car mounting—something the Pad 7 Ultra lacked—making it a more practical fit for in-car setups powered by the Xring O1 platform. Xiaomi’s sub-brand Redmi is expected to unveil the Redmi K80 Ultra and Redmi K Pad, a compact gaming-friendly tablet, later this month in China. Likely, the Pad 7S Pro may debut through the same launch event.
