If your Oppo device is on the list, it’s likely to be upgraded to Android 16 when the rollout begins. Those missing from the list should also wait for the official list before considering upgrading to a newer model.
When will Oppo start rolling out Android 16 update?
Oppo has not announced when it will start rolling out the Android 16-based ColorOS 16 update to its devices. However, we know that it usually takes a few weeks after Google releases the latest version of Android OS. Since Android 16 was released last week, we can expect the ColorOS 16 rollout to go live in early July 2025. We can’t discount the possibility of a delay if critical bugs are found.
Whenever the rollout begins, it will initially reach recent premium phones, such as the Find X8 series, Find N5, and Find N3 series. The update will then gradually expand to mid-range and cheaper models. Oppo will soon release a ColorOS 16 rollout schedule, which will reveal when the update will be available for your Oppo device.
