Dangbei has introduced its latest home projector, the MP1 Max, aimed at home cinema users seeking a high-end alternative to TVs and laser projectors. It features native 4K resolution, high brightness, and a rich audio-visual experience, with a focus on accurate color reproduction, sharp image clarity, and smart capabilities for an immersive entertainment setup.

Dangbei MP1 Max Specifications
The projector uses a Triple Laser + LED hybrid light source and delivers up to 3100 ISO Lumens of brightness. It features a 0.47-inch DLP chip and supports 4K UHD resolution at 3840 × 2160 pixels.
According to the company, the MP1 Max covers 110% of the BT.2020 color gamut and achieves ΔE<1 color accuracy, aiming for professional-grade image reproduction. It also supports HDR10+, HDR10, and HLG standards for improved contrast and dynamic range.
Dangbei has equipped the projector with a 1.2:1 throw ratio and support for screen sizes ranging from 40 inches to 300 inches. The system includes features such as MEMC motion compensation and full 3D support for multiple formats.

It also incorporates the company’s InstanPro AI Image Setup system. This setup includes automatic focus, keystone correction, screen fit, real-time adjustment, obstacle avoidance, brightness control, and eye protection.
The MP1 Max runs on Google TV and supports over 10,000 apps, including Netflix, YouTube, Prime Video, and Disney+. It comes with Google Assistant integration and supports voice control. Hardware specifications include a quad-core ARM Cortex-A55 processor, Mali-G52 GPU, 2GB RAM, and 32GB of internal storage.
Audio is handled by dual 12W speakers placed inside a 750cc acoustic chamber. The speaker system supports Dolby Audio, Dolby Digital, Dolby Digital Plus, DTS Virtual:X, and DTS-HD. Dangbei claims the bass reaches as low as 45Hz, with the chassis design helping to isolate sound and minimize distortion.
The MP1 Max includes dual HDMI 2.1 ports (one with eARC), a USB 2.0 port, 3.5mm audio out, Wi-Fi 6, and Bluetooth 5.2. It also ships with a Bluetooth remote, carrying case, power plug, dustproof bag, and AAA batteries. The built-in stand supports 360-degree horizontal rotation and 135-degree vertical tilt.
The projector uses a modular cooling system with zoned thermal insulation, heat pipes, and dual turbo fans. Dangbei claims it maintains noise levels under 24dB in standard mode.

Pricing and Availability
The Dangbei MP1 Max is now available on Amazon US and UK, as well as on Dangbei’s official US website. It is priced at $1,999 / £1,599. The company is offering a limited-time launch offer that drops the price to $1,699 / £1,519 from June 24 to July 7 with the code DBMP1MAX.
