Samsung is gearing up for its next major launch. According to an official announcement, the brand will host its Galaxy Unpacked event on July 9, 2025. The event is expected to introduce new foldable smartphones, TWS earbuds, smartwatches, and software upgrades. Ahead of this global reveal, Samsung India has opened pre-reservations for its upcoming Galaxy lineup, providing early buyers with select benefits.
Galaxy Unpacked event to unveil foldables, smartwatches, and more
Set to take place in Brooklyn, New York, on July 9 at 07:30 PM IST, the Galaxy Unpacked event will showcase Samsung’s latest foldables—the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7. The Fold 7 could feature an 8.2-inch inner display, a 6.5-inch cover screen, a Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy chip, and a 200-megapixel main camera. Meanwhile, the Flip 7 is expected to come with the Exynos 2500 chipset, a 6.85-inch foldable display, a 4-inch cover screen, and a 50-megapixel rear camera. A more affordable Flip 7 FE variant might also appear alongside.
These devices will come preinstalled with the One UI 8 interface based on Android 16. Features such as AI-enhanced performance, battery optimization, and customization will headline the software experience. Other launches may include the Galaxy Buds Core, Galaxy Watch 8 lineup, and Galaxy Watch Ultra. The company may also share updates about Project Moohan, its mixed-reality device developed with Qualcomm.
Galaxy devices now up for pre-reservation in India
From June 24, customers in India can pre-reserve upcoming Galaxy products by paying a refundable Rs 1,999. This early access pass offers benefits worth up to Rs 5,999, including early delivery, access to exclusive colors, and better exchange rates. Reservations are open via Samsung’s official website, Amazon, Flipkart, and select retail stores.
