Solos has announced two new smart glasses at the Smart Glasses Summit in Hong Kong. The new models, AirGo A5 and AirGo V2, are designed to bring AI-powered wearable tech into everyday use. According to the brand, the launch marks a step forward in making smart eyewear more functional, stylish, and integrated into daily routines.

The AirGo A5 is designed for audio-first experiences. It features a lightweight frame, built-in voice assistant activation using “Hey Solos,” and upgraded directional audio for private conversations and better sound in noisy settings. It also supports seamless power-on and power-off, plus natural voice interactions for everyday tasks. The A5 is compatible with previous AirGo 3 frames, offering an easy upgrade path for existing users.

Meanwhile, the AirGo V2 is a visual-focused model with a 16-megapixel camera, electronic image stabilization, and the ability to live stream via low-power Wi-Fi. A second-generation update, it includes SolosChat 3.0 – a multi-modal AI experience combining text, audio, image, and video to engage with platforms like ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and DeepSeek. The V2 retains the same directional audio and wake word features as the A5, but adds live video capabilities and a compact design for on-the-go use.

Pricing and availability

The AirGo A5 will be available for pre-order in August 2025, priced at $249. The AirGo V2 is set to launch in Q4 2025 and will retail for $299). Both glasses feature modular designs with swappable batteries and frames and will be available through Solos’ official website. The brand is also collaborating with SDK partners to expand its smart glasses platform across accessibility and healthcare use cases.
