Casio has just unveiled a new limited edition G-Shock watch celebrating one of Japan’s most beloved baseball teams, the Hanshin Tigers. This exclusive timepiece combines the ruggedness and durability G-Shock is known for with the iconic colors and logo of the Hanshin Tigers, making it a must-have for both die-hard fans and watch collectors.
Casio x Hanshin Tigers G-Shock Unveiled
The popular watch maker announced the Casio G-Shock x Hanshin Tigers watch to celebrate the 90th anniversary of the Japanese baseball team. With this collaboration, the classic DW-6900X series watch is getting a visual makeover with a black resin casing that includes beige accents along with a beige tiger print on the straps. Fans of the team can even find the Tigers logo on the stainless steel case.
Apart from the aesthetics, the G-Shock is basically the same as the regular version. So you still get a 20ATM water resistant and shock resistant watch. The watch is digital and displays the typical features like a stopwatch, weekday, date, and more. Casio includes an LED backlight for better readability in the dark and promises up to 7 years of battery life.
The Casio G-Shock x Hanshin Tiger 90th Anniversary Watch was just announced in Japan. While official pricing is still unclear, it might debut in the region for around 20,900 yen (roughly 145 US Dollars). There is still no word regarding Casio rolling out the watch in the global market, so this limited edition model could be exclusive to Japan.
