Skullcandy has released the Hesh 540 ANC, a new pair of over-ear headphones priced at $149.99 or €129.99. They’re available now in True Black and Bone.

The Hesh 540 ANC comes with active noise cancellation powered by four built-in microphones. Users can adjust the noise cancellation level, or switch to Stay Aware mode to let outside sounds in when needed.

Battery life is up to 65 hours without ANC and around 50 hours with it on. A quick 10-minute charge gives up to 4 more hours of use. The headphones also have wear detection, which auto-pauses or resumes playback when you take them off or put them on.

The standout feature is support for THX Spatial Audio, which gives a 3D sound experience across music, movies, and games. Users can customize the sound using Personal Sound by Mimi and built-in EQ presets.

For connectivity, the headphones use Bluetooth 5.3 and support Google Fast Pair and multi-point pairing to stay connected to more than one device at a time. There’s also a 3.5 mm jack for wired listening. Other features include a foldable design and one-touch access to voice assistants.

In other news, Skullcandy has also recently launched the Aviator 900 ANC wireless headphones. Key highlights include 40mm drivers, adaptive ANC via six microphones, THX Spatial Audio with head tracking, and a mini LED screen for battery and volume info. Battery life is up to 60 hours (50 with ANC), with 4 hours of playback from a 10-minute charge.
