There’s also the Vivo Y50m 5G listed in China Telecom’s product library with identical specs.

Vivo Y50 5G specifications and features

Vivo Y50 5G

The Vivo Y50 5G will sport a 6.74-inch LCD screen with HD+ resolution. The handset’s dimensions are listed as 167.30 x 76.95 x 8.19mm, and it weighs around 209 grams. On the front, users will find a 5-megapixel selfie camera housed in a waterdrop notch, while the rear features a single 13-megapixel camera with LED flash.

Under the hood, the Y50 5G is expected to run on MediaTek’s Dimensity 6300 (MT6835T) chipset, which supports 5G connectivity. The device is tipped to arrive in multiple RAM and storage configurations, going all the way up to 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. Additionally, a microSD card slot will be included for further expansion.

Battery performance should be solid, thanks to a large 6,000mAh cell. The phone has also passed 3C certification, suggesting support for 44W fast charging, which should help it power up quickly despite its massive battery.

Vivo Y50 5G pricing and availability

The Y50 5G is likely to be available in four configurations: 4GB+128GB, 6GB+128GB, 8GB+256GB, and 12GB+256GB. According to China Telecom, pricing could start at around 1,299 Yuan (~$180) and go up to 2,299 Yuan (~$320). Color options may include Platinum, Azure, and Diamond Black.

Vivo will reportedly launch the phone on or before July 18 in China. While the V2443A variant will be sold as the Vivo Y50 5G, a near-identical version with model number V2443BA may launch as the Vivo Y50m 5G.
