Back in May, Sharp unveiled a couple of new smartphones, including the Aquos R10. At that time, the brand revealed that the R10 will be available for purchase by early July. Now, the handset is available for purchase in the country, and its price has been confirmed.

The Sharp Aquos R10 houses a 6.5-inch Pro IGZO OLED display with an FHD+ (2340 x 1080p) resolution, 240Hz variable refresh rate, peak brightness up to 3000 nits, and Dolby Vision support. For selfies, it features a 50.3-megapixel front-facing camera. Its rear camera setup features a pair of 50.3-megapixel lenses for primary and ultra-wide cameras.

The Aquos R10 runs on Sharp UX-based Android 15. Sharp has promised up to 3 OS upgrades and 5 years of security updates, offering flagship-grade software support.

The Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3, along with 12GB of RAM, powers the Aquos R10. Buyers can choose between 256GB or 512GB of internal storage, and the phone also supports microSD cards up to 2TB, a rarity in today’s flagship segment.

The R10’s battery department is well-equipped with a 5,000mAh cell that supports 36W fast charging, taking approximately 110 minutes to fully charge. It also supports USB PD 3.0 and wireless charging. Its other features include an in-screen fingerprint sensor, dual speakers, 5G, and a USB 3.2 Gen 1 port. In terms of durability, the R10 has an IP68-rated chassis with MIL-STD-810G certification

Sharp Aquos R10 price and availability

The Sharp Aquos R10’s official price for the Japanese market has not been disclosed yet, as customers must register their interest and contact sales directly to purchase it. In Taiwan, the 256GB model is priced at TWD 20,900 (~$710), while the 512GB version is priced at TWD 22,990 (~$780). It can be bought in shades like white, gold, and black.

The R10 is also expected to be released in markets like Singapore and Indonesia.
