Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been using the Alogic Fusion Pro Nexus USB-C universal dock, and it has been a good addition to my workspace. This compact yet feature-rich dock is an all-in-one solution designed to simplify and streamline connectivity, especially ideal for ultrabooks and thin laptops that come with fewer ports and rely solely on USB-C. Here are my thoughts on this new dock.
3Real-World Use
During everyday use, everything worked as expected—file transfers were quick, external monitors connected reliably, and the 50ms wake-up time when unplugging and reconnecting was hardly noticeable. Streaming 4K video to an external monitor while transferring data from a USB drive and charging the laptop didn’t cause any hiccups. Audio output through both HDMI and the 3.5mm jack remained clean and latency-free.
