TerraMaster F4 SSD NAS Specifications

The F4 SSD is powered by an Intel N95 quad-core processor from the Alder Lake-N series. TerraMaster has equipped the system with 8GB of DDR5 memory, which users can expand up to 32GB. The NAS supports multitasking workloads, AI photo classification, and media streaming.

For storage, the F4 SSD features four M.2 NVMe slots; two via PCIe 3.0 x2 and two via PCIe 3.0 x1. It supports a total capacity of up to 32TB (4 x 8TB). The NAS includes a single 5GbE LAN port that supports network speeds up to five times faster than standard Gigabit Ethernet. TerraMaster has also included two USB-A 3.2 Gen 2 ports and one USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 port, all supporting 10Gbps data transfers. There’s also an HDMI 2.0b port for direct video output.

The F4 SSD uses a compact drawer-style chassis and measures 138 x 60 x 140mm. It weighs around 1.2kg with packaging. TerraMaster has implemented active convection cooling and a low-noise fan, which helps maintain a quiet 19 dB(A) noise level in standby mode. The device has a rated power consumption of 48W.

On the software side, the NAS runs TerraMaster’s TOS 6 operating system. It supports mobile photo synchronization with AI image recognition, 4K video transcoding, media streaming, and cloud drive sync. The system can also serve as a multimedia server via platforms such as Plex, DLNA, and Jellyfin.

The device offers robust security features, including AES 256-bit encryption for folders, RSA 2048-bit encryption for data transfers, a built-in firewall, SSL certificate support, and protection against DoS attacks. It also supports remote management and allows the creation of multiple user accounts with individual access permissions.
