Galaxy S26 Ultra Leak Hints at Night Camera Upgrade

In one of our previous reports, we mentioned how Samsung is rumored to equip the Galaxy S26 Ultra with a new ISOCELL HP2+ camera, which will have a near 1-inch sensor size and a wider aperture. Now, the latest tip from Ice Universe backs this rumor as well. The tipster believes that the South Korean tech giant will pack its upcoming flagship with a new ISOCELL HP2 sensor that has an f/1.4 aperture.

Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra Concept Render

To recall, the Galaxy S25 Ultra has an f/1.7 aperture on its main camera. A wider aperture allows for more light being captured by the sensor, which enables better photography in low light scenarios. We can also expect a shallower depth of field as well. This was all the information revealed in the tweet. Based on what we know so far, Samsung’s Galaxy S26 Ultra’s main camera is likely a new 200MP shooter.

Early rumored stated that this camera would be a Sony CMOS sensor, although, this might not be the case anymore. Apart from this, Samsung might use the Samsung-made Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 SoC. The company could also bring improvements to the fast charging rate, despite the battery not getting a bump in capacity.
