Dubai-based luxury brand Caviar has launched a new collector’s item in the world of elite sports. The company has introduced Altair, the world’s first padel racket finished in radiant gold and featuring solid 18K gold accents. Known for its customized luxury smartphones and accessories, Caviar is now stepping into the high-end sporting goods market.

Altair is named after the Arabic-named star in the Aquila constellation. Caviar says the name is a tribute to the UAE’s cultural and astronomical legacy. Padel has gained popularity among the global elite, especially in cities like Dubai, Riyadh, and Monaco.
Caviar has produced only three units of Altair worldwide. The face of the racket features a glossy gold finish, while the handle and wrist strap use genuine buffalo leather. Solid 18K gold is used for the crown, grip inlays, and screws. Each racket comes with a custom Caviar-branded travel case and supports international delivery. The Altair is priced at $8,070.
The core of the racket uses lightweight carbon fiber, meeting professional padel standards. However, Caviar emphasizes that the gold finish is prone to wear from frequent gameplay. The company recommends using it as a collector’s display piece rather than a regular court accessory.

Altair represents Caviar’s first venture into the sports equipment space. The company plans to follow up with a new range of game-ready padel and tennis rackets at more accessible prices. These upcoming models will focus on everyday use while retaining Caviar’s signature design and craftsmanship.
Caviar positions the Altair as a symbol of exclusivity and prestige. The limited-edition release targets collectors, luxury buyers, and padel enthusiasts looking for a statement piece. Altair is now available for global order through Caviar’s official channels.
In related news, Caviar recently launched a $49,000 iPhone featuring a built-in Omega Seamaster watch famously worn by James Bond. The company also introduced luxury versions of the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Flip 7, priced at $11,000 and $9,270 respectively, turning Samsung’s latest foldables into high-end cosmic collectibles.
