Xiaomi has officially launched the Redmi 15 5G in Malaysia. The major highlights of the smartphone include a 144Hz display, a Snapdragon 6-series chipset, a massive battery, and a 50-megapixel primary camera. Continue reading ahead to know everything about the Redmi 15 5G.
Redmi 15 5G specifications and features

The Redmi 15 5G comes with a 6.9-inch Full HD+ display offering a 144Hz refresh rate and a 288Hz touch sampling rate. It also supports Wet Touch Technology 2.0 for improved usability with wet fingers.
Powering the device is the Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 processor, along with a 7,000mAh battery, the largest Xiaomi has included in any of its global smartphones. It supports 33W fast charging and 18W reverse charging.
The phone runs on Xiaomi’s HyperOS 2.0-based Android 15 and includes features such as Circle to Search, AI Eraser, AI Sky, and Dynamic Shots. For photos, the phone has a dual rear camera setup with a 50-megapixel main sensor and an auxiliary lens, while the front houses an 8-megapixel camera.



The Redmi 15 5G is equipped with a side-facing fingerprint sensor for security. Other features include IP64 certification, virtual RAM expansion up to 16GB, and microSD card support up to 2TB. High-definition audio is enabled via Hi-Res Audio and Dolby Atmos.
Redmi 15 5G price and availability
The Redmi 15 5G is priced at MYR 729 (~$170) for the sole 8GB+256GB variant. It will be available in Ripple Green, Titan Gray, and Midnight Black through Xiaomi’s official website and offline stores. The phone is also scheduled to launch in India on August 18.
