The leaked watermark details confirm that the Meizu 22 is equipped with a 24mm main sensor with f/1.6 aperture and a 72mm telephoto sensor with f/2.4 aperture. This setup enables the phone to achieve an effective 3x optical zoom. While the official camera samples have surfaced, the exact megapixel count is yet to be revealed.

Meizu 22 to sport a redesigned look
The leaked image of the phone reveals that it will feature a square-shaped rear module housing three to four sensors, replacing Meizu’s earlier vertical arrangement. The phone is said to incorporate a flat mid-frame for a sharper profile, while the display reportedly features the industry’s narrowest 1.2mm symmetrical bezels for a striking front design. With a body width of around 71mm, it is targeting the small flagship category while maintaining high-end performance.

The Meizu 22 is expected to feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite platform. Battery capacity is said to be around 5,500mAh, supported by 80W wired fast charging. Other possible flagship features include ultrasonic fingerprint recognition, IP68 dust and water resistance, and AMOLED panels with up to 2K resolution and adaptive LTPO refresh rates.
While the Meizu 21 series included a standard and Pro model, recent reports suggest that there will only be a Meizu 22, meaning there won’t be a Pro edition.
