Samsung has introduced its new Odyssey G7 (G75F) monitors and expanded its glasses-free 3D gaming ecosystem at Gamescom 2025, taking place in Germany from August 20 to 24. The company is also showcasing its Odyssey OLED monitors through new partnerships with leading studios.

New Odyssey G7 Monitors

The Odyssey G7 lineup now includes a 37-inch 4K UHD (3840 × 2160, 16:9) display and a 40-inch Wide UHD (5120 × 2160, 21:9) model, Samsung’s first at this size. Both feature VA panels with 1000R curvature, 1ms (GtG) response time, and AMD FreeSync Premium Pro. The 37-inch supports a 165Hz refresh rate, while the 40-inch increases it to 180Hz. Both offer 350 nits brightness, VESA DisplayHDR 600 certification, and HDR10+ Gaming support.

Connectivity options include one DisplayPort 1.4 and two HDMI 2.1 ports, alongside a USB hub (1 upstream, 2 downstream). The monitors also feature multitasking tools such as Picture-by-Picture and Picture-in-Picture, plus CoreSync and Auto Source Switch+ for usability. Ergonomic stands allow tilt, swivel, and height adjustments.

The G7 is already on sale in Korea and the U.S., priced at $899.99 for the 37-inch and $1,199.99 for the 40-inch, with a European release scheduled for September. Visitors at Gamescom can test the monitors by playing Genshin Impact at Samsung’s booth in Hall 9.

Advancing Glasses-Free 3D

Samsung is also presenting the Odyssey 3D (G90XF), which enables glasses-free 3D gaming with adjustable focal distance and depth settings. The Odyssey 3D Hub currently supports over 25 games and is expected to exceed 50 by year-end, with upcoming titles including Lies of P: Overture, Mongil: Star Dive, Stellar Blade, and The First Berserker: Khazan.

OLED Collaborations

Samsung is also showcasing its OLED lineup through major studio collaborations. Blizzard has outfitted its World of Warcraft booth with more than 80 Odyssey OLED G6 monitors (500Hz), while Pearl Abyss is running Crimson Desert on around 180 Odyssey OLED G6 and G8 units, the latter offering 4K at 240Hz.

Samsung’s booth is located on Floor 1, Hall 9, at stands B030 and C031, where visitors can see the Odyssey G7, Odyssey 3D, and Odyssey OLED lineups.
