Samsung isn’t done poking fun at Apple. Hot on the heels of its “Can your phone do that?” spot, the company has dropped a new ad called “No shirt? No problem” that highlights what Galaxy AI can do — and what iPhones can’t.

The clip, shared on Samsung’s official X account and YouTube channel, opens with two friends lounging by a pool. The Galaxy Z Fold 7 owner, sitting shirtless, wants a photo he can actually share. His iPhone-carrying friend tries to help by covering his bare chest with random objects — from a sheet of paper to a leaf — but none of the makeshift fixes work.

That’s when the Fold 7 shows off its AI party trick. The Samsung user takes a shirtless photo of himself, then uses the Sketch to Image feature to literally draw a shirt onto his body. Within seconds, the AI generates a realistic shirt in the design he sketched, turning the shot into a perfectly shareable picture. Cue the punchline: “Can your phone do that?” The iPhone user’s reaction? He hurls his phone away in embarrassment.
With this ad, Samsung is flexing its Galaxy AI tools — positioning features like sketch-to-image as everyday problem-solvers that iPhones simply don’t offer. Coming just ahead of Apple’s iPhone 17 launch, the timing is no coincidence. While Apple is reportedly working on its own AI push, Samsung wants to remind users that its foldables already pack futuristic tricks.
Playful? Sure. Petty? Maybe. But Samsung’s message is clear: in the AI game, it believes Galaxy is already one step ahead.
