TCL has officially launched its X11L series of high-end televisions at its 2025 Mini LED TV autumn event in China. The company is calling the new lineup its “king of TVs,” and it introduces a new display technology called SQD-Mini LED.
Pricing
The X11L series includes three sizes: a 75-inch version priced at 19,999 yuan (approx. $2,800), an 85-inch model at 34,999 yuan (approx. $4,900) with 14,400 dimming zones, and a 98-inch variant priced at 59,999 yuan (approx. $8,400) featuring 20,736 local dimming zones. TCL claims this is the highest number of zones ever used in a Mini LED TV.

TCL X11L TVs Specifications
The flagship 98-inch model features a 4K display that supports peak brightness up to 10,000 nits with XDR-level HDR performance. The screen measures 2168 x 1267 mm and achieves 100% BT.2020 color coverage. TCL says the color accuracy reaches professional levels with a ΔE value under 0.99. The TV supports multiple HDR formats, including Dolby Vision, HDR10, HDR10+, HLG, and IMAX Enhanced.
The display uses TCL’s new SQD-Mini LED technology, which separates sub-pixel colors more effectively than RGB-Mini LED, allowing the panel to avoid color fringing and achieve a thinner profile. The panel also uses a new butterfly-wing LCD structure with anti-reflection coatings and maintains a native contrast ratio beyond typical IPS panels. Viewing angles reach over 178 degrees.

TCL equips the X11L series with a MediaTek 9655+ processor, paired with 4GB RAM and 128GB storage. It also includes TCL’s TSR AI image processor for real-time enhancements such as noise reduction, frame interpolation, and pixel-level detail reconstruction.
The TV supports MEMC motion smoothing and includes four HDMI 2.1 ports capable of 4K at 144Hz. It also features one USB 3.0, two USB 2.0, LAN, AV input, RF antenna, and optical audio output. Wi-Fi 6 is supported as well.
Audio is handled by a Bang & Olufsen-tuned speaker system. The setup includes dual bass woofers, a center channel, and front-firing stereo speakers. TCL says this provides a wide soundstage and clear audio at high volumes without distortion.
The X11L series runs on TCL’s Lingkong System 3.0. It uses a card-based UI that boots without ads and supports AI voice commands, Blu-ray-grade poster walls, and NAS playback. The package includes a slim tabletop stand, a wall-mount kit, and a minimalist bezel design with hidden cable routing.
In related news, Xiaomi has recently launched its S Pro Mini LED 2026 TVs featuring 5200 nits peak brightness and a 330Hz refresh rate, while TCL has introduced the QM9K QD-Mini LED TV with integrated Google Gemini AI and a peak brightness of 6,500 nits.
