Xiaomi has introduced a new addition to its Mijia product line, the Mijia Outdoor Multifunctional Light, in the Chinese market. The device will be available through a crowdfunding campaign on Xiaomi Youpin from September 22 at a launch price of 89 yuan ($12).
Mijia Outdoor Light Specifications
The Mijia Multifunctional Light is designed specifically for outdoor environments and supports a wide range of lighting scenarios like camping, hiking, and night photography. It features a maximum brightness of 600 lumens, making it capable of lighting up areas as far as 110 meters.
Xiaomi equips this light with dual light sources and three selectable modes: a focused spotlight for distance visibility, a broader floodlight for general area illumination, and a combined mode for enhanced versatility. Its brightness levels can be adjusted manually, allowing users to fine-tune the output to either extend battery life or achieve full intensity depending on the situation.
The light runs on a lithium-ion battery and supports long-lasting operation. It provides a runtime of 3 to 5 hours on high brightness and 10 to 36 hours on lower settings. The device charges via a USB Type-C port and also supports power bank input, allowing users to recharge it during travel or camping trips.
In addition to regular lighting, the Mijia Outdoor Light includes emergency features. It supports an SOS signaling mode and a red warning light, both useful during roadside emergencies or outdoor incidents. These functions help alert others and improve visibility in low-light or dangerous conditions.
The light carries an IP66 rating, ensuring strong resistance against water and dust. This makes it suitable for use in harsh environments such as rain, wind, or dusty trails. It features a quick-mount and release mechanism that simplifies setup and storage.
The product measures 57mm in length, 32mm in width, and 23.4mm in thickness. It weighs just 86 grams, making it lightweight and highly portable for outdoor use.
