iQOO 15 India launch confirmed

Recently, Realme confirmed that the Realme GT 8 Pro will launch as India’s first Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 phone. It appears that the iQOO 15 will be a major rival to the Realme offering, as both are confirmed to feature the same Snapdragon 8-series chip. While the India launch has been confirmed, there is no clarity on whether it will break cover in October or November in the country.
While iQOO India hasn’t shared anything else about the iQOO 15’s specifications, its Chinese wing has already shared a lot of details about it. Last week, the brand released official images to showcase its rear design. The new poster shown below showcases the phone’s front, which shows that it has ultra-thin bezels around the screen.

Recent reports have revealed that the iQOO 15 will feature a 6.85-inch Samsung AMOLED screen that supports a 2K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, the device will feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, up to 16GB of RAM, up to 1TB of storage, and a massive 7,000mAh battery with 100W charging and 50W wireless charging.
The iQOO 15’s rear camera setup is expected to feature three 50-megapixel cameras, including a periscope telephoto camera. The phone will run on the latest OriginOS 6-based Android 16. It will also come equipped with other features, such as a Q3 gaming chip, a new x-axis motor, and satellite communication support.
