At the beginning of this month, Vivo unveiled the Vivo Y500 equipped with the Dimensity 7300 chipset and an 8,200mAh battery. Now, Vivo Product Manager Han Boxiao has confirmed that the company is gearing up to launch the Vivo Y500 Pro in China. It will be the brand’s first Y-series phone to feature a 200-megapixel main camera.
Vivo Y500 Pro primary camera details confirmed

According to Boxiao, after the success of the Vivo Y500, the brand is all set to launch the Vivo Y500 Pro before the end of this year. What’s interesting is that this Y-series phone will feature a 200-megapixel Samsung HP5 primary camera with an f/1.88 aperture.
On the other hand, the Vivo X300 series, which is scheduled to go official on Oct. 13 in China, will feature the custom-made Samsung HPB 200-megapixel flagship sensor. It is said to be an upgraded version of the Samsung HP9 200-megapixel sensor.
This phone appears to be a rebranded or slightly modified version of the Vivo V60e, which is expected to debut with a 200-megapixel primary camera in October in India.
Reports have revealed that the Vivo V60e will feature a 120Hz AMOLED display housed inside an IP68/69-rated body. It is expected to feature a 50-megapixel front camera and a 200-megapixel + 8-megapixel dual-camera setup on the back.
Under the hood, the V60e could be equipped with the all-new Dimensity 7360-Turbo chipset and a 6,500mAh battery with 90W fast charging support. It is expected to run on FunTouch OS 15-based Android 15. The device is expected to arrive with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage.
