In October, OnePlus will announce the OnePlus 15 and OnePlus Ace 6 flagship phones in China. Recently, tipster Digital Chat Station released a Weibo post to reveal the chipset, battery size, and charging capabilities of the Ace 6. Today, he rolled out another post to reveal the RAM and storage configurations of the device.
OnePlus Ace 6 key specifications, configurations (rumored)
According to the tipster, the Snapdragon 8 Elite-powered OnePlus Ace 6 will come in options such as 12GB+256GB, 12GB+512GB, 16GB+256GB, 16GB+512GB, and 16GB+1TB. It will be available in colours like Black, Quick Silver, and Flash White.
The inclusion of the said chipset suggests that it will compete with other Snapdragon 8 Elite phones, such as the Realme GT 8, iQOO Neo 11, and Redmi K90, which are also expected to launch in China.
The OnePlus Ace 6 will feature a 1.5K OLED panel that supports a 165Hz refresh rate. The tipster has not mentioned the display size in the leak. Under the hood, the device will be equipped with a 7,800mAh battery with 120W fast charging.
For security, it will feature an ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint sensor. At present, there are no details about the device’s front and rear cameras. In terms of design, it may look similar to the OnePlus Ace 5 Ultra, which features a vertical camera module. DCS also revaeled that the device will weigh around 214 grams.
The OnePlus 15R heading to the Indian market is believed to be a modified version of the Ace 6. Both devices may mainly differ in the camera department, with the 15R likely to offer better cameras. While the OnePlus 15 is expected to debut soon in India, it is unclear whether the 15R will also debut alongside it.
