After teasing the arrival of the Red Magic 11 Pro series for the past few weeks, Nubia has finally confirmed its launch. Set to launch on Oct. 17, the Red Magic 11 Pro series will be gaming-focused smartphones powered by the latest Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC. Here is all that is known about the new series.

While there is no official confirmation yet, the Red Magic 11 Pro lineup is expected to include two models such as the Red Magic 11 Pro and 11 Pro+. Both phones may pack the same configuration, but the Pro+ edition may offer 24GB of RAM and 1TB of storage.

According to tipster Digital Chat Station, the Red Magic 11 Pro series will have a flat display integrated with the next-generation under-screen selfie camera. Under the hood, the series will feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip and a huge 8,000mAh battery.

The Red Magic 11 Pro series will also come equipped with other features, such as an ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint sensor, water cooling technology, a built-in fan, and an IP68-rated body. The official teasers also confirm that the series will have the water-cooling technology, but its exact details are not known yet.

Previous reports have suggested that the Red Magic 11 Pro series could be equipped with a 50-megapixel front-facing camera. It is also said to include a top-end touch control chip aimed at improving responsiveness in gaming scenarios. The company is expected to share more details about the Red Magic 11 Pro lineup in the coming days.
