When Qualcomm unveiled the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip last month, iQOO India confirmed that it will soon launch the iQOO 15 powered by the new chipset. A new poster released by the brand suggests that it will actively roll out more teasers in the coming days. Likely, the device will debut in November in India.
iQOO 15 teased in India
The iQOO 15 and Neo 11 are expected to debut this month in China. These devices will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 and Snapdragon 8 Elite, respectively. As far as the India launch is concerned, there is no clarity on whether the Neo 11 will be hitting the Indian market soon.
The above poster by iQOO India is a clear hint that the iQOO 15 will debut soon as the country’s one of the first Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 phones. Reports have claimed that new flagship phones are expected to hit the Indian market starting next month (November). Therefore, it is likely that the iQOO 15 may go official in the said month.
iQOO 15 specifications (rumored)
As per reports, the iQOO 15 will feature a 6.85-inch Samsung AMOLED screen with a 2K resolution, a 144Hz refresh rate, and an ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint sensor. For durability, it will feature a metal frame and an IP68/69-rated body.
The iQOO 15 will be powered by a 7,000mAh battery that supports 100W wired and 50W wireless charging. It will run on Android 16 and OriginOS 6.
The Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5-powered device is expected to ship with up to 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.1 storage in China. On the front, it may feature a 32-megapixel selfie camera, and its back panel could be equipped with three 50-megapixel cameras, including a periscope telephoto snapper.
