Dell has expanded its business laptop lineup in India with the launch of the Dell Pro 14 Essential and Dell Pro 15 Essential. Targeted at companies that need secure, reliable systems for everyday operations, these new laptops promise a balance of enterprise-level security, easy management, and solid performance without the premium price tag.

Both the 14-inch and 15-inch models come equipped with hardware-level TPM 2.0 encryption, ensuring sensitive data stays safe from unauthorized access. Select variants also include a fingerprint reader for instant login and a webcam privacy shutter for extra peace of mind during video calls. Physical protection hasn’t been overlooked either. There’s a lock slot for securing the device in public or office settings.

Dell is also leaning heavily into IT management tools this time. The Dell Management Portal, powered by Microsoft Intune, allows IT teams to manage devices remotely. Features like Microsoft Autopilot simplify large-scale setup with zero-touch deployment, while Excalibur OS Recovery Support helps restore functionality in the event of a system crash — handy for minimizing downtime.

The laptops come in both Intel and AMD variants. The Pro 14 Essential features a 14-inch WVA display, while the Pro 15 Essential steps up to a 15.6-inch panel. Both offer up to 2.5K resolution with a 16:10 aspect ratio and 300 nits of brightness.

Under the hood, you can go up to an Intel Core Ultra 7 155U or AMD Ryzen 5 8640U, paired with up to 64GB of DDR5 RAM and 2TB of SSD storage.

Connectivity is generous, with USB-C, HDMI, SD card reader, Wi-Fi 6/6E, and Bluetooth 5.3 support. Dell also includes ExpressCharge and ExpressCharge Boost options to quickly top up the battery. Both models are built from recycled aluminum and plastic and tested to MIL-STD 810H standards for durability.

Available with Windows 11 or Ubuntu, the Dell Pro 14 Essential and 15 Essential start at a promotional price of ₹31,999 for business users. They’re now available through Dell’s authorized partners and resellers across India.
