Honor is gearing up to launch the Honor Magic 8 series alongside the MagicPad 3 Pro tablet on October 15 in China. Over the past few weeks, several details have surfaced about the new devices, hinting at a major leap in performance and design. Now, a fresh leak shared by tipster Digital Chat Station (DCS) appears to have revealed the complete specifications of the upcoming Honor Magic 8, giving enthusiasts a detailed preview ahead of the official unveiling.

According to the leak, the Honor Magic 8 will feature a 6.58-inch 1.5K LTPO wide-angle flat display supporting a 120Hz refresh rate and 4320Hz PWM dimming for smoother visuals and reduced flicker. The device will run on MagicOS 10-based Android 16.
The device will have a 50-megapixel front camera, while the rear camera setup will include a 50-megapixel f/1.9 main sensor (1/1.56-inch size), a 50-megapixel f/2.0 ultra-wide lens, and a 64-megapixel f/2.5 periscope telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom.
Powering the device will be the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, paired with up to 1TB of storage. The phone is expected to pack a 7,000mAh battery with support for 90W wired and 80W wireless charging, which should offer excellent endurance.
Other highlights include a 3D ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, IP68/IP69/IP69K dust and water resistance, a metal frame with a glass back, and a dedicated camera button. The handset will also feature dual 1216 speakers and Beidou satellite messaging support.
Expected pricing and colour options
The Honor Magic 8 will measure 7.95mm in thickness and weigh around 205 grams. As per a previous leak, the phone will arrive in black, white, gold, and blue color variants.
