Since the Redmi Turbo 5 has surfaced in the database of China’s radio certification platform, it is expected to debut soon. Now, a leak courtesy of tipster Digital Chat Station has revealed some of its key specifications.
Redmi Turbo 5 key specifications tipped
According to the tipster, the Redmi Turbo 5 will arrive with a flat OLED panel equipped with rounded corners. The screen will support a 1.5K resolution and will feature an ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint sensor. The latter will be a noteworthy upgrade considering that the Redmi Turbo 4 featured an optical in-screen fingerprint sensor.
While the tipster did not mention the Redmi Turbo 5’s chipset, he revealed that it will have a massive 9,000mAh silicon battery paired with 100W charging.
The Redmi Turbo 5 is said to sport a simple design similar to its predecessor. The leak also states that the device will offer full-level waterproofing, suggesting that it may arrive with an IP68/69 rating.
There are speculations that the Redmi Turbo 5 will be powered by the Dimensity 8500 Ultra chipset. It is speculated that this chip will be first seen on the Reno 15 Pro, which is expected to debut in November.
Redmi Turbo 5 launch timeframe
The tipster also revealed that the Redmi Turbo 5 will debut in Q1 2026 in China. Globally, this device could debut as the Poco X8 Pro and is expected to launch around the same time.
