Tomorrow, Nubia will announce the Red Magic 11 Pro series of gaming flagships in China. A day before the launch, the company confirmed the battery size and fast charging capabilities of the phone. Here’s a look at what makes the Red Magic 11 Pro series so special.
Red Magic 11 Pro series battery size, charging details confirmed
The company has revealed that the Red Magic 11 Pro will come equipped with a massive 8,000mAh battery, making it the first Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5-powered phone to feature such a huge battery. Alongside this, it will debut the brand’s 80W wireless charging system.
As per the 3C certification, the series will also have support for 120W wired charging. With such a massive battery inside, the Red Magic 11 Pro series is expected to deliver extended playtime for heavy gaming sessions without frequent charging interruptions.
The Red Magic 11 Pro will also introduce the brand’s new “Pulsating Liquid Cooling Engine,” featuring AI-grade cooling fluid that remains stable between -60°C and 108°C. A mini ceramic pump with 100kPa output pressure ensures efficient liquid circulation, complemented by a 24,000rpm cooling fan with IPX8 water resistance. Together, they form the ICE Magic cooling system for optimal thermal control.
Powering the device is the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset paired with Red Core R4 and the CUBE Game Engine 3.0. The display, a BOE X10 true full-screen panel, promises high brightness, colour accuracy, and durability.
The Red Magic 11 Pro series may come with an improved under-display selfie camera and an ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint sensor. It is officially confirmed to arrive in four color options, such as Transparent Deuterium Silver Wing, Transparent Deuterium Dark Night, Dark Knight, and Silver Wing Ares.
