iQOO has announced that the iQOO 15 achieved record-breaking offline sales on its first day in China. According to the brand’s product manager @Ge Lan V, the phone saw a 280% year-on-year jump in offline sales compared to the iQOO 13, making it the strongest first-day offline performance in the company’s history.

Earlier reports revealed that the iQOO 15 performed exceptionally well online. According to official data, the phone sold over 142,000 units within just four hours of its first sale, representing an 87% increase compared to the iQOO 13. The device went on sale immediately after launch with no pre-order period. It also set a new all-time sales record for the brand and became the best-selling new Android phone on Tmall in 2025, surpassing the iQOO 13’s first-day sales within just 30 minutes.

But numbers alone don’t explain the hype. The iQOO 15 is a hardware showcase designed to dominate both the gaming arena and the flagship smartphone race. The device features a 6.85-inch 2K+ LTPO AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate. It uses Samsung’s M14 luminescent material and supports HDR10+, Dolby Vision, and up to 6000 nits peak brightness.

The iQOO 15 runs on the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, co-developed with Qualcomm for enhanced performance and efficiency. It achieves an impressive 4.38 million score on AnTuTu 11. The device also integrates a dedicated Q3 gaming chip that enables native 2K gaming at 144fps. Memory configurations go up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 1TB of UFS 4.1 storage.

iQOO has included a large 8000mm² vapor chamber with advanced thermal materials. During a one-hour session of Genshin Impact, the phone’s rear temperature reached only 39.3°C.

The rear camera setup includes a 50MP Sony IMX921 main sensor with OIS, a 50MP ultra-wide lens, and a 50MP periscope telephoto camera. The front has a 32MP camera. The phone packs a 7000mAh battery with 100W wired and 40W wireless charging. It supports IP68 and IP69 ratings.

Pricing starts at 4,199 yuan ($589) for the 12GB + 256GB variant. The lineup includes multiple configurations, with the top-end 16GB + 1TB model priced at 5,499 yuan ($771). iQOO has also released an Honor of Kings 10th Anniversary Collector’s Edition for the same price.
