Bang & Olufsen has announced The Centennial Collection, a special edition lineup marking the company’s 100th anniversary. The collection reimagines three of its most iconic products: Beoplay H100, Beosound A5, and Beosound A9 5th Gen.
The collection draws inspiration from different decades of the brand’s history. It features checkered grill patterns inspired by early radios, the 1970s colour palette of Century Red, Chestnut Brown, and Century Blue, and brushed aluminium finishes that reflect the 1980s design era. Every product includes the “B&O Est. 1925” Anniversary logo and the founders’ quote, “A never failing will to create only the best.”
Beoplay H100 Century Brown
The Beoplay H100 headphones deliver immersive sound with titanium drivers, Dolby Atmos support, and advanced noise cancellation. The design features a Century Red leather headband, Chestnut Brown inner band and ear cushions, and Century Blue detailing. The glass disc in natural silver shows the anniversary logo, and the set includes a matching leather pouch in Century Red with Century Blue accents.
Beosound A5 Century Weave
The Beosound A5 portable speaker offers Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, long battery life, and wireless charging. Its paper raffia weave in Beige and Chestnut Brown recalls the 1950s chequered speaker grills. A brushed aluminium frame, Century Red leather strap, and Century Blue cable add contrast and character.
Beosound A9 Century Blue
The Beosound A9 5th Gen features seven drivers for room-filling sound. Wrapped in Kvadrat’s Centennial Cadence fabric, it combines Century Blue and Chestnut Brown in a bold checkered weave. The natural aluminium ring and brushed legs reflect Bang & Olufsen’s 1980s design style, with Century Blue feet and cable completing the finish.
Pricing & availability
The Centennial Collection will be available from October 22 at Bang & Olufsen stores and on bang-olufsen.com. Prices are €1500 / $1750 for Beosound A5, €4500 / $5500 for Beoplay A9, and €1800 / $2300 for Beoplay H100.
