According to the official comparison, the Realme GT 8 Pro is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, marking a major leap from the Snapdragon 8 Elite used in the GT 7 Pro. The new model features a 2K 144Hz display, an upgrade over the 1.5K 120Hz screen on the GT 7 Pro. The display now reaches 7000nits peak brightness and features an ultra-fast 3200Hz touch sampling rate, improving responsiveness during gaming.

Another key improvement is the 7000mAh battery with 120W charging and 50W wireless charging support, compared to the 6500mAh battery and wired-only charging on the previous model. The GT 8 Pro runs on Realme UI 7.0, whereas the GT 7 Pro ships with UI 6.0.

The GT 8 Pro integrates a Hyper Vision AI chip, Symmetric Master Acoustic speakers, and an 0816 Ultra Haptic Motor for enhanced tactile feedback. The phone also introduces GT Boost 3.0 and a Signal Catcher Chip for improved connectivity.
