For the past few years, OnePlus has been launching its numbered flagship along with “R” branded sub-flagship together . while the brand globally unveiled the Oneplus 15 yesterday, the OnePlus 15R was missing from the scene. However, at the end of launch livestream, the brand did confirm its existence and told fans to stay tuned.
OnePlus 15R: what to expect?
Likely, the OnePlus 15R could either be based on the OnePlus Ace 6 or the Ace 6T designed for the Chinese market. While then Snapdragon 8 Elite-powered Ace 6 is already available in china, the company is expected to announce the Ace 6T with the all-new Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 onboard.
OnePlus Ace 6T, Ace 6 specifications
As per reports, the OnePlus Ace 6T will feature a 1.5K 165Hz OLED screen. Under the hood, it will feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chip and an 8,000mah battery with 100W charging support. The Ace 6T will feature a 32-megapixel front camera and a 50-megapixel + 8-megapizel dual camera setup on the back. It will have other features, such as ColorOS 16-based Android 16, a metal middle frame, an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor, an X-axis linear motor, dual speakers, and NFC support.
On the other hand, the Snapdragon 8 Elite-powered Ace 6 has a larger 6.83-inch OLED screen with resolution and refresh rate and a slightly smaller 7800mah battery with 120W charging. it has a 16 megapixel front camera and it’s rest specs are nearly identical to the Ace 6T.
