The TK705i is priced at ₹1,99,990 ($2,224), while the short-throw TK705STi is priced at ₹2,25,000 ($2,502). Both models are available through BenQ’s authorised retail and online channels starting this month.

BenQ TK705i and TK705STi Specifications

The TK705i and TK705STi projectors support native 4K UHD resolution (3840×2160) and deliver 3,000 ANSI lumens of brightness. Both use BenQ’s HDR-Pro and CinematicColor technologies to offer 98% Rec.709 color accuracy and enhanced contrast. These features help maintain clarity and color detail even in bright rooms.

The TK705STi is designed for small spaces. It can project a 100-inch screen from just 1.8 meters away using a 0.8 short throw ratio. The standard TK705i uses a 1.0-1.3x motorised optical zoom, making it more suitable for medium to large rooms. Both models support flexible installation, including ceiling mounts and inverted projection.

BenQ has integrated a full Google TV interface into both projectors. It lets you stream content directly from Netflix, YouTube, and Prime Video without relying on external devices. The projectors support Google Assistant and work with the BenQ SmartRemote app, allowing control via smartphone without relying on Wi-Fi.

Both models include 8-way Smart Image Adaptation features such as auto focus, auto keystone correction, digital zoom, screen fit, obstacle avoidance, and eye protection. These functions help users set up the projector quickly without manual adjustments.

Both projectors support HDMI 2.1 with eARC and Auto Low Latency Mode (ALLM). BenQ claims an input lag of just 5ms at 4K 60Hz, making the projectors suitable for gaming on consoles like PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and Nintendo Switch. The projectors also include USB-C ports with 30W Power Delivery, allowing devices to charge while in use.

The audio output is delivered by dual 8W speakers featuring Dolby Audio tuning. For wireless connectivity, Bluetooth 5.2 support is included, allowing connection to external soundbars or headphones.

In related news, TecSox recently launched the Aura smart projector in India as a compact option for home and portable use. Honor also introduced the Firefly AI Projector Air, which brings gesture controls and automatic calibration to its lightweight design.
