A new leak reveals the Legion Pro Rollable, a gaming machine that can literally expand its screen horizontally at the press of a button to transform from a standard 16:9 display into a sprawling 21:9 ultrawide canvas.
Following the experimental ThinkBook Plus Gen 6 that debuted a rollable OLED panel earlier this year, Lenovo is now bringing the same sliding-screen magic to its Legion gaming brand. According to Windows Latest, the alleged Legion Pro Rollable will let users switch between conventional 16:9 laptop mode and an expanded 21:9 aspect ratio in a matter of seconds.
A leaked image of the device shows a familiar Legion design complete with a built-in numeric keypad, but the real star is the motorized rolling mechanism that extends the display horizontally. The panel itself is reported to run at 120 Hz, while the rollable mechanism confirms the use of OLED technology. So users can expect deep blacks and vibrant colors.
