Samsung One UI 8.5 beta program

After weeks of testing One UI 8.5 internally, Samsung has finally opened public access to its One UI 8.5 beta program. The beta update is currently available for the Galaxy S25 phones (except S25 Slim and S25 FE), which bring a huge list of enhancements across nearly every corner, along with many new features.

At the time of writing this post, the first One UI 8.5 beta for the Galaxy S25 series is available in South Korea, Germany, and the US. It will also expand to India, Poland, and the UK very soon.

If you live in any of these regions and have a Galaxy S25/S25+/S25 Ultra, you can register for the One UI 8.5 beta program for early access to the latest features and enhancements. The process is simple. Open the Samsung Members app and tap the One UI beta program banner to complete the registration. Then, navigate to Settings > Software update > Download and install to get the latest update.

One UI 8.5 beta 1 update

In the One UI 8.5 beta announcement post on Samsung Newsroom, Samsung hasn’t revealed if the beta program will reach beyond the Galaxy S25 series. However, based on the company’s past track record, it could release the beta update to a few more Galaxy models.

The first One UI 8.5 beta rollout has just gone live, and there will likely be a couple more on the way before we get to the stable release sometime in the first half of 2026. Before that, we’ll see One UI 8.5 debuting on the Galaxy S26 series early next year.
