Google is reportedly working on a mid-range phone called the Pixel 10a. While the device is still months away from launch, a fresh leak has offered an early look at its expected hardware. Here’s a look at what to expect from the next Pixel phone.
Google Pixel 10a key specifications revealed

According to a listing shared by a well-known leaker, Evan Blass, the upcoming Google Pixel 10a has appeared in Verizon’s certification database, hinting at several key specifications. The document mentions a 6.3-inch FHD+ AMOLED screen capable of switching between 60Hz and 120Hz. It also references 8GB RAM, 128GB storage and a 5,100mAh battery, placing the phone extremely close to the Pixel 9a in terms of overall configuration.
The camera setup described in the listing continues this trend with a 48-megapixel primary camera, a 13-megapixel ultrawide lens and a 13-megapixel front camera.
Previous reports claim that Google may again opt for the Tensor G4 chipset, which powered the Pixel 9a. If this remains unchanged, the Pixel 10a may not gain many of the newer AI features introduced in the Pixel 10 series. There is, however, speculation that Google could adopt the newer Exynos 5400 modem to address past concerns around battery consumption and heating.
There have been murmurs of a brighter display that could reach around 2,000 nits, though this is yet to be confirmed. Apart from that, much of the hardware is shaping up to resemble its predecessor.
With the phone carrying the codename STA5, certification also describes it as a device engineered to offer Google’s AI experience at a relatively accessible level. More leaks are expected to clarify whether Google will introduce any meaningful upgrades before the Pixel 10a is officially revealed.
