The OnePlus 15R Ace Edition has been confirmed in a striking Electric Violet finish. It is nothing but a vibrant colour variant that will be sold alongside the 15R’s other colour options. Here’s a look at its design.
OnePlus Ace 15R Ace Edition revealed
The new Electric Violet variant joins the earlier Charcoal Black and Mint Green models, but this edition stands apart due to its redesigned rear panel. The phone features a fibreglass back with a refined coating that creates a subtle Ace pattern embedded into the surface, giving it a character that aligns with the device’s gaming-inspired identity.
OnePlus is positioning this edition as the ideal pick for users who enjoy a visually bold device with a unique texture and finish. This variant looks identical to the violet edition of the OnePlus Ace 6T, which is exclusively available in China.
In terms of specs, OnePlus has already revealed that the OnePlus 15R has the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chip and a massive 7,400mAh battery with 80W charging. The brand has also confirmed the inclusion of the DetailMax Engine, a feature previously introduced with the flagship OnePlus 15, aimed at improving clarity and overall visual output.
The OnePlus 15R’s screen will support a 165Hz refresh rate, making it suitable for gaming. It will feature the Plus Key button and run on ColorOS 16-based Android 16. When it comes to durability, the device will offer an IP66/68/69-rated dust and water resistance.
The OnePlus 15R is scheduled to go official on Dec. 17 in India. The same event will also see the arrival of the OnePlus Pad Go 2, a budget-friendly tablet with 5G support. The company will also announce the OnePlus Watch Lite, but at present it is only meant for other markets and not for India.
