A briefly posted—and quickly deleted—listing on China’s Xiaohongshu platform has stirred fresh chatter around DJI’s rumored Avata 360 drone. Screenshots of the post, which have since circulated widely, appear to reveal pricing and key specifications ahead of any official announcement.

According to the leaked material, the DJI Avata 360 could start at 2,988 yuan (roughly $426) for the drone alone. Several bundled options were also mentioned. These include a version with DJI’s RC2 remote controller priced at 3,988 yuan, as well as two higher-tier kits listed at 5,688 yuan each. The more expensive bundles reportedly add accessories such as extra batteries, a charging hub, and—depending on the kit—either flight goggles or a motion-based controller.
The poster claims the Avata 360 features a one-inch image sensor. It also lists support for 6K video at up to 60fps with HDR, along with omnidirectional obstacle avoidance. If accurate, those specs would place the drone well above entry-level models, particularly for creators interested in immersive or VR-style footage.
That said, not everything lines up neatly. Earlier reports had suggested a different hardware setup, including dual 1/1.1-inch sensors and possible 8K 360-degree video recording. The discrepancy has led some observers to question whether the leaked poster reflects final hardware or an early configuration.

As with many leaks, the information should be treated cautiously. DJI has not commented on the Avata 360, nor has it confirmed the product’s existence publicly.
Still, the pricing—if genuine—could make the Avata 360 one of the more accessible options in the growing panoramic drone space. A sub-$500 starting point would lower the barrier for enthusiasts curious about 360-degree aerial imaging, while higher-tier kits cater to more serious users.
